X Acceleration Codec QuickSync Version Installation Guide

Important

• Require Intel 5/6/7/8th generation CPU with iGPU supports.
• Intel QuickSync is supported on all core i3, i5, i7 and i9 processors. Also some Xeon E3. For more details you can search on here.
• 2 x 4/8 GB RAM is required for consist the dual channel memory.

Installation for CentOS, Fedora, RHEL, Ubuntu and Debian

1. Install the systemd and other libraries for Ubuntu and Debian only.

   apt-get update
   apt-get install systemd libdrm2 libxext* libxfixes* libpciaccess* -y
   

2. Install Intel Media SDK and 4.18.20 kernel.

   wget http://ftp.xaccel-codec.com/install/intel-mediasdk-19.2.1.tar.xz
   tar -xvf intel-mediasdk-19.2.1.tar.xz
   cd intel-mediasdk-19.2.1/
   bash ./install.sh
   reboot
   

3. Install X Acceleration Codec software.

   wget http://ftp.xaccel-codec.com/releases/xaccel-codec-4.3.19.sh
   bash ./xaccel-codec-4.3.19.sh -i
   

4. Open the browser and enter http://IP for login to the panel. default username and password are: admin.Go to the Servers > Manage Servers tab, click the second icon at settings column for open the license page, and activate you license key.
