# Video on Demand

TIP

For provide better client experience, we are remuxing the video files in hls format.

# Movie

You can go to the VOD > Add Movie page for add the movie. Here is the explain of each options:

  • Name The movie name.
  • Category The movie category.
  • Server The server of movie file stored. If the Source you filled is a URL not path, this option will control where the hls files stored. Otherwise, it's for indicate the path of movie file in which server.
  • Source The movie file path or http/ftp URL for remote movie file.

# Series

For Series, you need go to VOD > Add Series for add the series first. Then go to VOD > Manage Series page, click the icon at settings column of series you just added. It will open the episode manage page, you can click Add Episode button for choose the episode you want to add in the file browser. Or simply click the icon if you want to enter the episode file path or URL directly.
