Audit and Analytics
Audit Log records management changes. Playback Analytics summarizes completed viewer sessions.
Audit Log
Filter by account, role, IP, table, action, row, or time.
Set Settings → System Settings → Advanced → Audit Log Keep Days to 0–90 days, within your license limit. 0 disables retained history.
Clearing the Audit Log is permanent. Export anything you need first.
Playback Analytics
With a license that includes User Analytics, open a User’s Playback Analytics action to view watch time, traffic, favorite media, and completed connections.

Retention

Statistics and cleanup run at startup and every 10 minutes. An updating notice means results are still being processed. Refresh later. Processing delays may keep connection details longer than the selected period. Expired data cannot be recovered.
Read the Results
- Sessions count toward their UTC start date and month, even if they end in another period.
- Watch time adds all connection durations, including simultaneous sessions. It is not unique online time.
- First start and last end are the outer bounds, not continuous viewing.
- Ranges up to 30 days use daily totals. Longer ranges use complete UTC months within retention. Check the displayed range; its end is exclusive.
- Daily and monthly statistics are alternative views, not totals to add together.
Select a day or month for its top 100 media items. Recent dates also show server totals and up to 200 retained connections. These details include IP, User-Agent, location, server, protocol, and end reason.
Server totals may differ from daily totals after connection details expire. Failed sections show unavailable data, not zero.
Management API
GET /api/v1/users/{id}/playback-analytics accepts:

The response reports granularity, since, exclusive until, and updating. Overview includes summary, periods, and daily or monthly.
details_available means the date overlaps retained history, not that every session remains. details_since is the connection end-time cutoff. Summary online_seconds is null; online time is available only in retained server details. Access requires the same license and User permissions as the UI.

Settings
Open Settings → System Settings → Analytics.

Sessions appear after they close and meet both thresholds. Threshold changes affect future completed sessions, not existing statistics.
When the size limit is exceeded, older details are removed in batches after their daily/monthly statistics are saved. Retention cleanup follows the same rule. Pending statistics may temporarily keep details beyond either limit. Setting retention to 0 still deletes both details and statistics.
Engine 1.0+
Table size is estimated. Cleanup targets about 90% of the limit, but database files may not shrink after rows are deleted. Space can be reused for new rows. This setting is not a hard disk quota.
Restrict access: audit and connection details can contain private account, server, and client data.
