Upgrade

Back up the Engine database before installing an upgrade.

Upgrade

1. In Engine, open Settings → Database Backup, create a database backup, and wait for it to complete.

2. Download the completed backup to your local computer and keep it until the upgrade has been verified.

3. Choose a version from the X Acceleration release directory, then download and run the installer:

   wget http://ftp.xaccel-codec.com/releases/xaccel-engine-1.0.0.sh
   sudo bash ./xaccel-engine-1.0.0.sh --install

Codec and Engine packages are not interchangeable.
