Source Proxies

Use Proxy when selected live Streams must reach their sources through a controlled HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4, or SOCKS5 endpoint.

Action	When to Use	How to Use
Manage Proxies	Review proxy health, last check, assigned Streams, or remove obsolete entries.	Open Proxy → Manage Proxies, filter by status or type, and inspect a failed proxy before reassigning Streams.
Add Proxy	Add one proxy and select the Streams that should use it.	Open Proxy → Add Proxy, enter its type, host, port, optional credentials, and Stream assignments, then save and test one Stream.
Import Proxies	Load a reviewed TXT or JSON proxy list.	Open Proxy → Manage Proxies → Import Proxies, upload no more than 2 MiB or 10,000 entries, then verify status before assigning production Streams.

use TLS where credentials cross an untrusted network;
do not assume an online proxy can reach every source;
test source authentication, redirects, DNS, bandwidth, and reconnect behavior;
keep a direct or alternate source path when the proxy is not a required dependency.
