Source Proxies

Use Proxy when selected live Streams must reach their sources through a controlled HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4, or SOCKS5 endpoint.

Safe Use

  • use TLS where credentials cross an untrusted network;
  • do not assume an online proxy can reach every source;
  • test source authentication, redirects, DNS, bandwidth, and reconnect behavior;
  • keep a direct or alternate source path when the proxy is not a required dependency.
