Important Behavior

Starts Under High Load

Changed in Engine 1.0+

Stream and DVB Adapter starts wait when server resources are overloaded. Running processes and Stop actions are unaffected. Check the object and system logs for the reason.

Other Settings

  • Maintenance Mode restricts management accounts; it does not stop playback.

  • Playback Analytics requires a supporting license. Setting retention to 0 disables recording and deletes details and summaries. See Audit and Analytics for retention and privacy details.

  • Maximum Connection History Size sets a soft limit in MiB for connection details, including indexes. 0 means unlimited. Cleanup runs every 10 minutes and saves daily/monthly statistics before removing older details.

    Engine 1.0+

  • Trusted Proxies must contain only proxy addresses you control.

  • Referer and User-Agent entries are exact and case-sensitive; wildcards and regular expressions are not supported.

  • Output Encryption Monitoring can restart or stop a Stream when clear output is expected but encrypted output is detected.

  • Audit Log Keep Days is limited by the license and has no byte-size limit.

  • Table optimization may rebuild or lock a table and require temporary disk space.

Test SMTP before enabling notifications and test every affected protocol after streaming, CDN, access, or DRM changes.
